THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
AMES, IOWA JULY 22, 2015
The Ames Zoning Board of Adjustment met, pursuant to law, in regular session at 7:00 p.m. on
July 22, 2015, in the Council Chambers of City Hall with the following members present: Shelby
Ebel, Susan Bradbury, Kyle Perkins, Michael Davis and Matthew Koehler. Staff members Judy
Parks, Jessica Spoden and Mark Lambert were also present.
Training for Board Members:
City Attorney Judy Parks led a training session for Zoning Board members. The following topics
were discussed:
History of the Zoning Board of Adjustment
Municipal Code Chapter 29 for the City of Ames
Iowa Code Chapter 414 – City Zoning
Decision and Order
Appeals
COMMENTS:
ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Perkins, seconded by Koehler, to adjourn the meeting at 7:46
p.m.
