RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION
FOR O'NEIL PARK, 300 S. MAPLE,
FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 10th day of September, 2026,
for the purchase and installation of playground equipment for O'Neil Park, 300 S. Maple,
for the Parks and Recreation Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been
carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Crouch Recreation, of Elkhorn, NE, for the purchase and installation of
playground equipment for O'Neil Park, 300 S. Maple, in an amount not-to-
exceed $139,035.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 13th day of October, 2026.
