COMMISSION ON THE ARTS
February 6, 2012
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 PM by Chair Fred Lewis. Membe rs present
were Andrew Zehr, Craig Zywicki, Joel Jacobsen, and Christopher Sutch.
Public Forum
No one was present for Public Forum
Approval of Minutes
Commissioner Zywicki moved the minutes from the January 9 meeting be approved.
Commissioner Jacobsen seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
New Business
Chair Lewis reminded the commission of the February 14 th Budget Wrap-Up Session to
be held by the City Council. Chair Lewis and Commissioner Zehr will be available to
attend that meeting. Commissioner Zywicki may possibly attend.
The Commission discussed the Special Project Grant Final Report from the India
Cultural Association. Commissioner Sutch moved to receive the report. Commissioner
Jacobsen seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
The Commission reviewed the Fall 2012 Special Grant Application. There was a
discussion of how the dates were presented in the timeline. It was recommended that
the tasks be put in chronological order. On page 5, it was recommended that the text at
the top indicating “Page 2” be removed. Commissioner Zehr moved to approve the
changes. Commissioner Zywicki seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
The Commission will next meet on March 5, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.
Commissioner Jacobsen moved to adjourn. The Commission adjourned at 5:22 p.m.
