Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by acting Chair Tom Lockhart. Members present
were Connie Garnett and Jason Paull.
Public Forum
No one was present for Public Forum.
Approval of June 6, 2016 Minutes
Moved by Jason, seconded by Connie to approve the May minutes. The motion carried
unanimously.
Review of Spring 2016 Special Project Grant Final Reports
Moved by Tom, seconded by Connie to approve the reports. The motion carried unanimously.
Review 2015/16 Annual Grant Final Reports
Moved by Tom, seconded by Connie to approve the reports. Jason indicated that in future
years, it appears there are some areas for improvement for the budget section. Motion carried
unanimously.
Finalize Spring 2017 Special Project Grant Application
Moved by Jason, seconded by Tom to accept the grant application. Motion carried unanimously.
Finalize 2017/18 Annual Grant Application
Tom mentioned that the reference to line 20 on page 7 should refer to line 21 instead. Moved by
Connie, seconded by Jason to approve the annual grant application. Motion carried
unanimously.
Finalize Date for Annual Grant Hearings
Moved by Tom, seconded by Jason to offer five minutes to each organization to present on
November 7th. Motion carried unanimously. Connie requested that there be some refreshments
available due to the length of time the hearings take.
Next Meeting
The next scheduled meeting of the Commission is September 12, 2016.

Jason moved the meeting be adjourned. Connie seconded. The meeting adjourned at 5:25 p.m.
