Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chair Steve Sullivan. Members present were, Jon
Foley, Jason Paull, and Tom Lockhart. Deanne Brill was not present.
Public Forum
Stan Rabe noted that ACTORS would be staging a new production that opens September 15. Jenny
Brockpahler noted that ACAC would host its gathering of artists soon, and details are available on
the website. The studio tour is also taking place this fall.
Approval of August 7, 2017 Minutes
Moved by Jason, seconded by Jon, to approve the minutes of the August 7, 2017 meeting. Motion
carried unanimously.
Spring Special Project Grant and Annual Grant Workshop
Brian Phillips reviewed the Annual Grant process. Upon inquiry from the audience, the Commission
clarified that agencies that have submitted their IRS non-profit letter and bylaws in the past do not
need to do so again.
Brian reviewed the Spring Special Project Grant process.
Approve January 2018 Through July 2018 Calendar
Moved by Jason, seconded by Jon, to approve the January 2018 through July 2018 Calendar.
Motion carried unanimously.
Upcoming Important Dates
Special Project Grant Applications are due September 18th. The next meeting will be held October
2nd.

Jason moved the meeting be adjourned. The meeting adjourned at 5:21 p.m.
