RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
ON CONTRACT WITH WÄRTSILÄ NORTH AMERICA, INC.,
FOR RECIPROCATING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES
FOR AMES MUNICIPAL ENERGY CENTER FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a Change Order is necessary and proper
on the above Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that Change Order No. 2 for the deduction of 7% sales tax totaling $4,908,933.12
from the total contract amount for a revised total contract amount of $71,880,806.40 on
contract with Wärtsilä North America, Inc., of Houston, TX, for the Reciprocating Internal
Combustion Engines for Ames Municipal Energy Center be approved and adopted as
attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of September, 2026.
