APPROVAL OF MINUTES
It was moved by Cady, with second by Bristow, to approve the May 17, 2017 meeting minutes. No
discussion. No opposition. Motion Approved

DIRECTOR’S REPORT
a. Introduction: Paul Tauke, City Forester
Abraham introduced Tauke to the Commission. Tauke gave a brief overview of his
education and work history.
b. Commission Action Form: Lutheran Church of Hope Request to Utilize Bandshell
Park Beyond Park Hours
Abraham went over the Commission Action Form for the members. The Church would like to
have overnight security staff in Bandshell Park as they are going to have expensive equipment in
the park overnight for their outdoor service. Staff recommends Alternative #1. It was moved by
Cady, with second by Culbertson to approve Alternative #1. No discussion. No opposition.
