ABSENT : Duane Reeves, Jeff White
STAFF PRESENT: Keith Abraham, Joshua Thompson, Courtney Kort
CALL TO ORDER: 4:01 PM
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Bristow moved, with a second by Shimanek, to approve the May 18, 2023, meeting minutes.
No discussion. No opposition. Motion Approved.
PUBLIC FORUM
No public forum
MOTION APPROVING THE VINTAGE COOPERATIVES OF AMES FITNESS AGREEMENT FOR JUNE 15,
2023 THROUGH MAY 31, 2024.
Abraham went over the agreement with the Vintage Cooperative.
Staff recommends Alternative #1.
Bristow moved, with a second by Cramer to approve Alternative #1. No discussion. No
opposition. Motion Approved
MOTION APPROVING THE AMES JAYCEES REQUEST TO ENTER ADA HAYDEN HERITAGE PARK ON
SEPTEMBER 17, 2023 AT 5:30 AM, PRIOR TO REGULAR PARK HOURS TO SET UP FOR THE GAAR EVENT
Thompson informed the Commission regarding the request.
Staff recommends Alternative #1.
Cox moved, with a second by Bristow to approve Alternative #1. No discussion. No opposition.
Motion Approved
PARKS AND FACILITIES TOUR
Staff and Commission toured the Ames/ISU Ice Arena and the Sands-McDorman Property.
ADJOURNMENT
Bristow moved to adjourn. The meeting concluded at 5:59 PM.
