RESOLUTION NO. 26-602
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY
FOR BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT AT
259 AND 263 HYLAND AVENUE WITHIN STORY COUNTY
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a
boundary line adjustment per Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, the site is located at 259 and 263 Hyland Avenue within Story County.
The owner of 259 Hyland Avenue is Dayton Park LLC, and the owner of 263 Hyland Avenue
is Adventure Investments LLC; and,
WHEREAS, the real estate is located within Lots 1, 2, and 3, Heacock’s Subdivision,
Ames, Iowa, and is more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has
been rendered by the Planning and Housing Department with no conditions; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the Plat of Survey for the site located at 259 and 263 Hyland Avenue within Story
County is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of September, 2026.
