RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO.1
ON CONTRACT WITH WÄRTSILÄ NORTH AMERICA, INC.,
FOR RECIPROCATING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES
FOR AMES MUNICIPAL ENERGY CENTER FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a Change Order is necessary and proper
on the above Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $1,227,233.28 for a refund of tax to the
City of Ames on contract with Wärtsilä North America, Inc., of Houston, TX, for the
Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines for Ames Municipal Energy Center be
approved and adopted as attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
ADOPTED THIS 22nd day of September, 2026.
