RE: Domani Subdivision 3rd Addition Financial Security Reduction #1
Mayor and Council Members:
I hereby certify that the partial completion of subgrade preparation, curb and gutter, HMA
Pavement 6 inch required as a condition for approval of the final plat of Domani Subdivision 3rd
Addition have been completed in an acceptable manner by various contractors. The above-
mentioned improvements have been inspected by the Engineering Division of the Public Works
Department of the City of Ames, Iowa, and found to meet City specifications and standards.
As a result of this certification, it is recommended that the financial security for public
improvements on file with the City for this subdivision be reduced to $123,144.00. The
remaining work covered by this financial security include HMA 2 inch surface, Sidewalk 5 inch,
Sidewalk 5 inch (Homeowners), Detectable Warning, COSESCO, Street Trees, Street Lights.
