RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF THE CONTRACT
FOR BID PACKAGE 07-3
MEMBRANE ROOFING & SHEET METAL FLASHING WORK
FOR THE FITCH FAMILY INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has filed a certificate of
completion for Bid Package 07-3 Membrane Roofing & Sheet Metal Flashing Work for the
Fitch Family Indoor Aquatic Center for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a
contract dated 13th day of February, 2024, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and
Central States Roofing Co. Inc., of Ames, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, IA, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for Bid Package 07-3 Membrane Roofing & Sheet
Metal Flashing Work for the Fitch Family Indoor Aquatic Center has been fully
completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and
is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $813,063.
Section 3. The amount due to Central States Roofing Co. Inc., of Ames, IA, is
hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 8th day of September, 2026.
