RESOLUTION NAMING INTERIM CITY ATTORNEY
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the recommendation for appointing an Interim City Attorney is as
follows:
• Duration: Wednesday, September 2, 2026 – Thursday, October 15, 2026
• Interim City Attorney Appointment: Jane Chang, Assistant City Attorney
• Compensation: An additional $1,500 per pay period for three pay periods
• Duration: Friday, October 16, 2026 – Monday, November 30, 2026
• Interim City Attorney Appointment: Victoria Feilmeyer, Assistant City Attorney
• Compensation: An additional $1,500 per pay period for three pay periods
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the naming of Jane Chang and Victoria Feilmeyer as Interim City Attorney
according to the aforementioned schedule and with the aforementioned compensation is
hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 25th day of August, 2026.
