RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF THE CONTRACT
FOR BID PACKAGE 33-1 (SITE UTILITY WORK)
FOR THE FITCH FAMILY INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the bid package 33-1 (Site Utility Work) for the Fitch Family Indoor Aquatic
Center for the City of Ames, IA, in accordance with a contract dated 21st day of February,
2024, by and between the City of Ames, IA, and Iowa Pipe & Grading, LLC, of Ames, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the bid package 33-1 (Site Utility Work) for the
Fitch Family Indoor Aquatic Center has been fully completed by the Contractor
in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and
approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $400,218.
Section 3. The amount due to Iowa Pipe & Grading, LLC, of Ames, IA, is hereby
ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
