RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF THE CONTRACT
FOR THE FURMAN AQUATIC CENTER POOL BASIN HEATER PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the Furman Aquatic Center Pool Basin Heater Project for the City of Ames,
IA, in accordance with a contract dated 28th day of October, 2025, by and between the
City of Ames, IA, and Sentry Aquatic Innovations, of Woodward, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Furman Aquatic Center Pool Basin Heater
Project has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the
terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $297,600.30.
Section 3. The amount due to Sentry Aquatic Innovations, of Woodward, IA, is
hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 11th day of August, 2026.
