Meeting Minutes
Attending: Marina Kraeva, Calli Sandahl, Michael Abrams, Steven McKinney
1.Call to order - 5:43pm
2.Approval of Minutes - motion to approve Michael, second Calli
3.Approval of Treasurer ’s Report - motion to approve Marina, second Michael
4.Koshu Virtual Student Exchange Planning
a.Only one meeting to be held June 10, 2022 7:00 pm - 8:30pm
b.No news on if anyone has applied - deadline is next Friday, April 29, 2022
c.Each student will make a 3 minute video and will discuss one of the four topics.
d.There will be breakout rooms to give students the chance to interact with each other
and discuss their topics.
e.The Pen Pal program is in the air – Japan wants to keep it out of the schools, Ames
wants to facilitate it through the schools.
f.Mr. Michael (AMS Principal) is willing to give a welcome to the students at the start of
the exchange. Sees to issue with students using their Chromebooks for exchange.
5.Website Update
a.Steven to pull together some domain names and send them to the group for feedback.
Will move forward with development and keep us updated.
