It would be nice for us to put this out now to help encourage students to attend the trip. Even though it ’s summer, there’s foot traffic in schools all year round. It gives students the time to start conversing with parents/guardians so financial planning can begin for the trip. ii.Would like to make the trip poster available to Ames students who attend other schools, like Gilbert and Nevada. iii.Cindy to coordinate with the Koshu liaison to let them know we are moving forward with the trip. iv.Possible fundraiser idea to help students offset costs for kids on the trip. v.Cindy looking for volunteer to lead the planning /organization of trip b.Cindy is in the running to serve on the board for the Iowa Sister City Assoc. 6.Adjourn - Motion Cindy, 2nd Michael, approved by all
