Approval of Treasurer’s Report: 1st Marina Kraeva, 2nd Katrina Harden Williams, Pass by all
• Old Business:
• See if mayor has someone in mind for city appointed open board position.
• Japanese student exchange idea update: video work in progress. One video received
from a Spring 2020 delegate. Asked Lisa for a video and Katrina for a video.
• Tunisia relationship update – Contact has been made with Lofti about making contact
with the mayor in Tunisia.
New Business:
• FY22 Budget – Lisa and Jen will work on it and will add Tunisia exploration to the budget
request.
• Cindy made contact with Iowa Sister States about volunteering for their board in an effort to be
more involved with what they are doing. She discovered the Yamanashi Prefecture is sending a
delegation to Iowa next year during the Iowa State Fair. They will likely want to visit Ames.
• We will approach the school board about getting on a meeting agenda to discuss their role in
the AIPCA in an effort to get more involvement from them.
• Next meeting on October 15, 5:30pm, Virtual.
