Present: Lisa Shen, Calli Sandahl, Linda Livingston, Marina Kraeva, Jenn Malone, Karlai Thornberg, Cindy
Hicks, Katrina Harden Williams
Presentation about sister city opportunity with Haovaria, Tunisia by Lofti. Goals of the relationship
would be:
• Cultural Exchange: Food Architecture, Language
• Economic Exchange: Tunisia is democratic, emerging economy, with many college educated
residents.
• Share experience about city management: Water management and waste management
Further discussion about this opportunity will happen at the August meeting.

Approval of Treasurer’s Report: 1st Lisa Shen, 2nd Cindy Hicks, Pass by all
• Old Business:
• Kosovo: No longer interested in this relationship due to unstable political issues in the
country.
New Business:
• Welcome to new members: Katrina Harden Williams
• Thank you gift for retired board members approved: 1st Linda Livingston, 2nd Marina Kraeva.
