Approval of May 2020 Minutes: 1st Lisa Shen, 2nd Jenn Malone, Passed by all
Approval of Treasurer’s Report: 1st Diane Brotherson, 2nd Andrew Koshatka, Pass by all
• Note: Lisa received a draft from the city of $5,500 budget. Since there will be not trips
this year, most will be returned.
Old Business:
• New Membership Form: Jenn made a new membership form and gave it to Susan at the
City. It will be effective for next year. Membership fee is $25 per family. Jenn will
enquire about setting up a way to pay membership online.
• Kosovo: No update due to a big COVID-19 problem there. There will be no visits this
year. Tom will serve on the Kosovo subcommittee, but it will need to be led by a board
member.
New Business:
• Welcome to new members: Calli Sandahl (Ames Chamber), Linda Livingston (School), Marina
Kraera (At Large), Andrew Koshatka (City Appointed)
• FY 21 Board Officers: Lisa Shen (President), Karlai Thornberg (Vice President), Cindy Hicks
(Secretary), Jenn Malone (Treasurer)
• Outgoing Board Members: Judy Jones, Tom and Pat Sauer, Dianne Brotherson
Current membership: 129 families
Next Meeting: July 16 at 5:30pm, Freidrich Realty, 100 6th Street.
