Minutes May 16, 2019

Those present: Board members Lisa Shen, Jen Malone, Dianne Brotherson, Judy Jones Also present was Kim Linduska a new board member linduskaKim@gmail.com
I. Call to Order (Lisa Shen) at 5:07 p.m.
II. Approval of April 2019 Minutes – Motion to approve minutes by Malone, second by Brotherson.
Motion approved.
III. Approval of the Treasurer’s Report (Jen Malone) The report lists the bank total 4/30/2019 as
$9,278.85. The grant amount requested for 2019/2020 from the city was $6,000 ($2,500 for
Kosovo exploration, $2,000 for student trip leader tickets, and $15,00 for annual meeting, supplies
and holiday letter. Approved with the treasurer’s report was $75 to pay City Church for use for the
annual meeting. Jones approved the report with 2nd from Brotherson. Motion approved.
IV. Old Business/Updates
A. AIPCA FY19-20 Budget follow up
B. Annual Meeting planning – June 26 6:30pm at City Church
• Agenda – slate of officers, kosovo update and review of year
• Desserts & ice cream – will order box lunches
C. Kosovo sister city next step (subcommittee report) has not met
V. New Business
A. Request from ISU Bands director- the request has been sent to Koshu and they are
working with band director
B. Set future meeting dates – annual meeting June 26.
C. Koshu 2020 trip discussion – no action
VI. Adjourned at 5:50 p.m. Moved by Jones, 2nd Brotherson. Approved. Next meeting will be the annual meeting at City Church June 26 at 6:00 Submitted by Judy Jones, secretary
