Minutes January 10, 2019

Those present: Board members Lisa Shen, Jen Malone, Dianne Brotherson, Judy Jones, Lana Pavlik, and Karlai Thornburg. Call to Order (LisaShen) at 7:15 p.m.Approval of November 2018
Minutes – Motion to approve minutes by Brotherson, 2nd by Malone. Motion approved.Approval of the Treasurer’s Report (JenMalone) Malone reported on November and December activities.
October delegation expenses submitted were $4,813.60. After transferring the Ames grant, the money left to pay for holiday letters and hosting Japanese students was $7,764.75 at the
end of November. In December the city reimbursement and donation from the Chamber were received.Taking out $501 for additional expenses leave a total amount of grant money left $3,264.09
and other money left in account at $8,743.85. AIPCA total funds are now $12,509.83.Jones moved to approve the report with 2nd from Pavlik. Motion approved. OldBusiness/UpdatesKosovo
sister city next steps. The Board will wait for response to newsletter request to see interest in the partnership.New BusinessNewsletter– Board members worked onthe winter newsletter
being mailed to members.Set future meeting dates – February 28 , City Hall, March no meeting, April 18, City Hall, May 16, City Hall, June (TBA) annual meeting The Board plans to discuss
in the future the annual meeting with regard to Koshu exchange plans. The Board may change the venue. Adjourned at 7:45 p.m. to continue newsletter mailing.
Next meeting will be on Thursday February 28, 2019 City Hall
