Monthly Board Meeting
19 February 2015
Meeting called to order at 5:10p.m. by Dianne Brotherson.
Members Present:
Tom Sauer, Dianne Brotherson, Jen Malone, Lana Pavlik.
Approval of Minutes:
Bill Diesslin stated that he found the missing minutes from the November meeting and provided a copy. The November minutes were approved with edits. The January minutes were approved
with edits.
Treasurer Report:
Jen Malone reported a balance of $7,113.10 with $64.24 outstanding.Treasurer’s report was approved by the Board.
Old Business:
AET – Dianne never heard back from Annie Chung. The board told Koshu that their hiring restrictions make it difficult for us to recruit.
AIPCA did not participate in the year’s World Friendship Day.
Ads for the adult delegation ran in the newspaper, ISU Dailey and in Cityside. Bill Diesslin has received a few emails from those expressing interest in the trip.
New Business:
Meeting tonight at 7:00 about the adult delegation. Request for help housing students visiting through DMACC from Japan. The board felt this was something we can’t handle and it is
outside the scope of our organization. Next meeting March 26, 2015.
