Grant funding update – application submitted by Nov. 15 deadline.
New Business
AET Update-Koshu City would like an AET to start next July
Discussion concerning recruiting candidates (contact former delegates, current AET, Japanese student association at ISU, Iowa sister city association, and/or notice in City Side newsletter)
2014 Delegation Dates/Correspondence from Koshu City
June youth delegation to Koshu City. Will suggest 3rd week of June.
Strategy for advertising for youth delegation and chaperones (Ames City Side and Ames Tribune). Try to recruit beyond Ames Community School District.
Holiday greeting cards to membership, City Council, School Board, friends, and to AET in Japan
Meet and Jones’ residence.Updated/holiday newsletter to include AET teacher opening and upcoming delegation.
