May Minutes
Motion to approve by Kolb, second by Culhane, passed.
Treasurer’s Report
Balance $6,811.92.
Motion to donate $50 to Oakwood Church for use of meeting space by Diesslin, second by Culhane, passed.
Thank you and gift cards to outgoing members (Judy Kemp and Kathleen Ary) will be arranged by Brotherson

Adult Exchange from Koshu City September 17-22
Lengthy discussion of plans for Koshu delegation. Tentative plan is for Wed. to be for City Day, Thurs. for School Day, Fri. for Des Moines Day, and Sat. as Host Family Day. Separate
planning document provides summary of potential activity and board responsibilities.
Other business
Carol Van Waardhuizen is new board member representing school district.
John Kolb volunteered to lead effort for development of partner city relationship with Wulfrath, Germany.
