Call to Order – 5:05 p.m. Brotherson Presiding Present – Brotherson, Culhane, Diesslin, Kindred, Tom Sauer Absent - Kemp, Jones, Hampson, Ary, Pat Sauer, Kolb, & Pavlik Note: Lack of quorem. II. Approval of May and July Minutes (N/A, no quorum) III. Treasurer’s Report A. Fiscal Year Summary: July 2011-June 2012 Diesslin distributed report. Current balance $6544.60. IV. Election of officers (no discussion or action taken) Bylaws say that we elect officers at this particular meeting each year President, VP and Secretary have each served one term in office. Each are eligible for one more year, but must be reelected to that year. Treasurer is a 2 year position. Bill is in his second term and have one more year. All positions must be filled by new individuals in 2013. V. Youth delegation update and discussions on expectations A. Host family update – Culhane noted that host families are still needed. Only 10-12 students are placed out of 20. Will email all members to try to finds homes for remaining students. Will also schedule a meeting for host families. B. Schedule update 1. Wednesday, September 19 – City Hall. Kindred suggested possibility of light refreshments in council chambers. 3. Thursday, September 20 4. Friday, September 21 5. Saturday, September 22 Note: Suggestion to get interpreters from ISU Japanese Student Association during visit. ISU has volleyball and soccer games during delegation visit. VI.
