Dublin Bay
The Annual meeting was held on Thursday, June 17th, at Dublin Bay restaurant. Following a 5:30 social time, during which everyone enjoyed an assortment of appetizers, President Diane
Oppedal read the president’s annual report.
Members present were Diane Oppedal, Judy Kemp, Reveevun Pitcher, Laura Lynn Boettger, Carolyn Klaus, George Beran, and Sandy Hoenig.
Members absent: Bill Diesslin, Cappie Dobyns, David Miller, Kathleen Ary, Sharleen Sullivan, John Kolb, and city representative Bob Kindred.
There were also 14 past board members and guests in attendance.
Carolyn Klaus collected dues for the coming fiscal year.
Carolyn Klaus announced that a group of 18 adults will be traveling to Japan on the next exchange this fall.
Secretary Sandy Hoenig took pictures of the group socializing and will submit pictures and an article to the Ames Tribune for publicity.
