Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Nicolas Bulver. Members present were
Mary Kay Truckenmiller, Donald Tweedt, and Candace Zwank. Ferit Karakaya was not
present.
Public Forum
No one spoke during Public Forum.
Approval of May 4, 2026, Minutes
It was moved by Donald, seconded by Mary Kay, to approve the minutes of May 4, 2026.
Motion carried unanimously.
2026/27 Annual Grant Update
The Commissioners discussed the availability of funding as a result of Worldly Goods not
accepting its Annual Grant. The funds will remain available for the Commission to use for
another purpose later during the 2026/27 fiscal year.
Fall 2026 Special Project Grant Recommendations
It was moved by Candace, seconded by Mary Kay to recommend special project grant
awards as follows:
ACTORS – $800
Rolling Hills Chamber Music – $1,000
Story Theater Company – $1,000
KHOI Community Radio - $600
Motion carried unanimously.
Upcoming Important Dates
Upcoming important dates were reviewed by Nicolas.
Adjourn
There being no further business, Nicolas adjourned the meeting at 5:19 p.m.
