RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE DELIVERY OF DIESEL, BIODIESEL,
AND BIODIESEL BLENDED FUEL PURCHASES
FOR THE TRANSIT DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 1st day of July, 2026, for the
delivery of diesel, biodiesel, and biodiesel blended fuel purchases for the Trasit
Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Agriland FS Inc. of Winterset, Iowa, for the delivery of diesel, biodiesel, and
biodiesel blended fuel purchases from July 15, 2026, until June 30, 2027 .
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 14th day of July, 2026.
