The following licenses are eligible for renewal:
a. AJ's Liquor II, 2515 Chamberlain Street, Class E Retail Alcohol License
b. Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, 105 Chestnut Street, Class C Retail
Alcohol License
c. Cyclone Experience Network, 1800 S 4th Street - Jack Trice Stadium,
Class C Retail Alcohol License with Catering Privilege and Outdoor Service
d. Patio Bar & Grill, 4518 Mortensen Road Stes 101-104, Class C Retail
Alcohol License with Catering Privilege and Outdoor Service
e. Sportsman's Lounge, 123 Main Street, Class C Retail Alcohol License with
Living Quarters
f. 313 Bar, 115 5th Street, Class C Retail Alcohol License with Catering
Privilege
A review of police records for the past 12 months found no liquor law violations
for AJ's Liquor II or Cyclone Experience Network. The Police Department
recommends the license renewal for these businesses.
A review of police records for Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill found one
violation for Providing Alcohol to an Underage Person. One violation was found
for Minors Prohibited on Certain Premises at Sportsman's Lounge. One violation
was found for Minors Prohibited on Certain Premises at 313 Bar.
Two violations were found at Patio Bar and Grill for Providing Alcohol to an
Underage Person and three violations were found for Possession of
Alcohol Underage. Staff spoke to the owners and managers who agreed to
more regularly attend training and quarterly meetings. Further violations
may result in staff recommending that the City Council take action prior to
the establishment's next license renewal.
Officers will continue to monitor these businesses for liquor law violations and
