MEMO
The City Council set a date of Public Hearing on the proposition of entering into
Prairieview Industrial Substation Line Tap Construction Agreement and a
Transmission Facility Joint Ownership Agreement between ITC Midwest, LLC
and entering into a Transmission Interconnection Agreement by and among ITC
Midwest, LLC, the City of Ames and Midcontinent Independent System Operator.
City staff is working through final language for the agreements and
requests this hearing be continued to June 23, 2026.
