RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2025/26 ALLEY PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (ALLEY - SOUTH OF
LINCOLN WAY BETWEEN SOUTH KELLOGG AVE AND SOUTH SHERMAN AVE)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the 2025/26 Alley Pavement Improvement Program (Alley - South of Lincoln Way
Between South Kellogg Ave and South Sherman Ave) for the City of Ames, Iowa, in
accordance with a contract dated the 24th day of March, 2026, by and between the City
of Ames, Iowa, and Brother's Concrete, of Des Moines, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2025/26 Alley Pavement Improvement
Program (Alley - South of Lincoln Way Between South Kellogg Ave and South
Sherman Ave) has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with
the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $112,579.33.
Section 3. The amount due to Brother's Concrete, of Des Moines, Iowa, is
hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 9th day of June, 2026.
