RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
PARKS AND RECREATION MAINTENANCE FACILITY EXPANSION PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Facility Expansion Project for the
City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated the 24th day of June, 2025, by
and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and King Construction, of Iowa Falls, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Parks and Recreation Maintenance Facility
Expansion Project has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance
with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $1,365,319.61.
Section 3. The amount due to King Construction, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, is hereby
ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 9th day of June, 2026.
