RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT RENEWAL
FOR DENTAL INSURANCE ADMINISTRATION SERVICES
FOR THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, over the past two decades Delta Dental of Iowa has been an effective
administrator of the City’s dental administrative services. Renewal of this contract will
provide the best value to the City in administering its dental insurance program.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Delta Dental of Iowa for dental insurance administration services for the
one-year period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, in the amount of
$519,442.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of May, 2026.
