RESOLUTION APPROVING DESIGNATION OF UNALLOCATED
FY 2026/27 ASSET FUNDS FOR EMERGENCY SHELTER SERVICES
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, in addition to the $2,081,431 recommended agency allocations, there
was an additional $91,843 of City funding that is unallocated for FY 2026/27. The ASSET
Board recommended utilizing these unallocated funds for emergency shelter services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that designating the City’s unallocated ASSET funds in the amount of $91,843 for
emergency shelter services is hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 26th day of May, 2026.
