RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR THE 2026/27 AIRPORT ENTRYWAY IMPROVEMENT
(SOUTH PARKING LOT EXPANSION)
FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, proposals were received for Professional Engineering Services for the
2026/27 Airport Entryway Improvement (South Parking Lot Expansion) for the Public
Works Department, City of Ames, Iowa. Said proposals have now been carefully
analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Bolton & Menk, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $144,800, for design,
bidding, and construction administration and inspection services associated
with the FY 2026/27 Airport Entryway Improvement (South Parking Lot
Expansion) project.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 12th day of May, 2026.
