RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE PROFESSIONAL AUDIT OF THE CITY’S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, Eide Bailly, LLP has provided financial audit services for the City since
the 2002/03 fiscal year. The City entered into a one-year agreement with Eide Bailly, LLP
on June 27, 2023, to complete the audit for FY 2022/23, with the option of auditing the
financial statements for each of the four subsequent fiscal years.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section 1: Award of contract is made as follows:
Eide Bailly, LLP, Dubuque, Iowa, for Year four of the agreement to
professionally audit the City's financial statements for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 2026, in the amount of $86,000.
Section 2: The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section 3: All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 14th day of April, 2026.
