RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 26-096
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, at the February 24, 2026, meeting, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 26-096 approving Change Order No. 8 with Woodruff Construction, of
Ames, Iowa, for the Water Pollution Control Facility Nutrient Reduction Modifications
Phase 1 Project in the amount of $3,841.91; and,
WHEREAS, the actual change order document was for a slightly different amount,
at $3,843.61; a difference of $1.70; and,
WHEREAS, to ensure that the resolution approved by the City Council is
consistent with the change order document, the City Council is being asked to rescind the
previous resolution and issue a new resolution in the corrected amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, as follows:
Section One. It is hereby determined that Resolution 26-096, approving Change
Order No. 8 in the amount of $3,841.91 on contract with Woodruff Construction, of
Ames, IA, for the Water Pollution Control Facility Nutrient Reduction Modifications
Phase 1 Project, adopted on February 24, 2026, is rescinded.
Section Two. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith shall be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 10th day of March, 2026.
