RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2022/23 STORY COUNTY EDGE OF FIELD PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Water and Pollution Control Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the 2022/23 Story County Edge of Field Project for the City of Ames, Iowa,
in accordance with a contract dated the 8th day of October, 2024, by and between the City
of Ames, Iowa, and Hands On Excavating, LLC of Radcliffe, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2022/23 Story County Edge of Field Project
has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the
contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $ 217,527.17.
Section 3. The amount due to Hands On Excavating, LLC of Radcliffe, IA, is
hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 24th day of February, 2026.
