RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF THE
2024/25 TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROGRAM (S. 16TH & UNIVERSITY)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the 2024/25 Traffic Signal Program (S. 16th & University) for the City of Ames, Iowa, in
accordance with a contract dated the 22nd day of October, 2024, by and between the City
of Ames, Iowa, and Van Maanen Electric, Inc. of Newton, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2024/25 Traffic Signal Program (S. 16th &
University) has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the
terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $142,043.15.
Section 3. The amount due to Van Maanen Electric, Inc. of Newton, Iowa, is
hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 10th day of February, 2026.
