RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
ON CONTRACT WITH SHEKAR ENGINEERING, P.L.C., OF DES MOINES, IA,
FOR THE 2022/23 CONCRETE PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS (BROOKRIDGE AVE,
RIDGEWOOD AVE, LEE ST, 9TH ST, PARK WAY, & ALLEY) PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a Change Order is necessary and proper
on the above Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that Change Order No. 2 for a deduction in the amount of $286,617.83 on contract
with Shekar Engineering, P.L.C., of Des Moines, IA, for the 2022/23 Concrete Pavement
Improvements - (Brookridge Ave, Ridgewood Ave, Lee St, 9th St, Park Way, & Alley)
project be approved and adopted as attached hereto and made a part hereof by this
reference.
ADOPTED THIS 27th day of January, 2026.
