RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2021/22 STORMWATER DETENTION/RETENTION MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
(NORTHRIDGE HEIGHTS POND)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the 2021/22 Stormwater Detention/Retention Maintenance Program (Northridge Heights
Pond) for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated the 9th day of April,
2024, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Tallgrass Land Stewardship Co., of
Waukee, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2021/22 Stormwater Detention/Retention
Maintenance Program (Northridge Heights Pond) has been fully completed by
the Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby
accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $152,395.50.
Section 3. The amount due to Tallgrass Land Stewardship Co., of Waukee, IA,
is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
