RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2024/25 MULTI-MODAL ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS
(6TH STREET, NORTH OF CITY HALL)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the 2024/25 Multi-Modal Roadway Improvements (6th Street, North of City Hall) for the
City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated the 12th day of August, 2025, by
and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and MidState Solution, LLC of Baxter, IA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2024/25 Multi-Modal Roadway
Improvements (6th Street, North of City Hall) has been fully completed by the
Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted
and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $128,929.50.
Section 3. The amount due to MidState Solution, LLC of Baxter, IA, is hereby
ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 23rd day of December, 2025.
