RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF STEEL POLES
FOR THE ELECTRIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT, CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, bids and proposals were received on the 4th day of December, 2025,
for the purchase of steel poles for the Electric Services Department, City of Ames, Iowa.
Said bids have now been carefully analyzed.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as
follows:
Section One. Award of contract is made as follows:
Irby Utilities of Rapid City, SD, for the purchase of steel poles for Electric
Services in the amount of $61,008.19.
Section Two. The City Manager and City Clerk are authorized to execute said
contract for and on behalf of the City of Ames, Iowa, and to affix the corporate seal
of the City thereto.
Section Three. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 16th day of December, 2025.
