RESOLUTION APPROVING WAIVER OF FEES
DURING 4TH OF JULY PARADE
FOR THE CITY OF AMES
WHEREAS, Ames Main Street (AMS) is organizing the community parade for the
2026 Downtown 4th of July celebration; and,
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the community parade, Ames Main Street is further
requesting a blanket Vending License for the entire Central Business District, and a waiver
of the license fee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames,
Iowa, that the waiver of the Blanket Vending License fee for the 4th of July Parade is
hereby approved.
ADOPTED THIS 16th day of December, 2025.
