RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2023/24 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the 2023/24 Water System Improvements Program (Kellogg Avenue - 7th Street to 13th
Street) and (11th Street - Burnett Avenue to Kellogg Avenue) for the City of Ames, Iowa,
in accordance with a contract dated the 9th day of July, 2024, by and between the City of
Ames, Iowa, and Jet Drain Services, LLC of Ames, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2023/24 Water System Improvements
Program (Kellogg Avenue - 7th Street to 13th Street) and (11th Street - Burnett
Avenue to Kellogg Avenue) has been fully completed by the Contractor in
accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and
approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $890,901.93.
Section 3. The amount due to Jet Drain Services, LLC of Ames, Iowa, is hereby
ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
