RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
WATER TREATMENT PLANT LIME POND
UNDERDRAIN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Water and Pollution Control Department has filed a certificate of
completion for the Water Treatment Plant Lime Pond Underdrain Improvements Project
for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated the 12th day of November,
2024, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and Con-Struct, Inc., of Ames, IA, in the
amount of $204,369.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Water Treatment Plant Lime Pond
Underdrain Improvements Project has been fully completed by the Contractor
in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted and
approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $204,369.
Section 3. The amount due to Con-Struct, Inc., of Ames, IA, in the amount of
$204,369, is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 25th day of November, 2025.
