Box 811, Ames, IA 50010 RESOLUTION NO. 25-577 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF SURVEY FOR 5300 HICKORY HILLS DRIVE FOR THE CITY OF AMES WHEREAS, application for a proposed Plat of Survey has been submitted for a boundary line adjustment per Section 23.309 of the Municipal Code; and, WHEREAS, the site is located at 5300 Hickory Hills Drive, and the owner is Steven and Barbara O’Rourke; and, WHEREAS, the real estate description is as follows: Parcel A. Lot 1 and part of Lot 2 in O'Rourke Subdivision in the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 84 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M., Story County, Iowa, all together being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of said Lot 1; thence N 00° 00' 18 "W, 375.27 feet along the west line thereof; thence S87°06'54"E, 257.42 feet; thence N 07° 59'32" E, 226.60 feet to the north line of said Lot 2; thence N 74 °09'44"E, 295.12 feet to the Northeast Corner thereof; thence S 13°57' 13” W, 690.02 feet to the Southeast Corner of said Lot 1; thence N 89° 39'40"W, 406.11 feet to the point of beginning, containing 5.35 acres, which includes 0.31 acres of existing public right of way. Parcel B. Part of Lot 2 in O'Rourke Subdivision in the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 84 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M., Story County, Iowa, all together being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Lot 1 in O'Rourke Subdivision; thence N 00° 00' 18"W, 375.27 feet along the west line of said Lots 1 and 2 to the point of beginning ; thence continuing N 00° 00' 18"W, 129.57 feet to the Northwest Corner of said Lot 2; thence N 74 °09'44" E, 300.00 feet along the north lien thereof; thence S07° 59'32"W, 226.60 feet; thence N 87°06'54"W, 257.42 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.10 acres. WHEREAS, a preliminary decision of approval for the proposed Plat of Survey has been rendered by the Planning and Housing Department with no conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that the Plat of Survey for 5300 Hickory Hills Drive is hereby approved.
