RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
2023/24 AMES PLAN 2040 SANITARY SEWER UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE
(265TH STREET EXTENSION)
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has filed a certificate of completion for
the 2023/24 Ames Plan 2040 Sanitary Sewer Utility Infrastructure (265th Street Extension)
for the City of Ames, Iowa, in accordance with a contract dated 10th day of December,
2024, by and between the City of Ames, Iowa, and S.M. Hentges and Sons, Inc., of
Jordan, Minnesota.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the 2023/24 Ames Plan 2040 Sanitary Sewer
Utility Infrastructure (265th Street Extension) has been fully completed by the
Contractor in accordance with the terms of the contract and is hereby accepted
and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $2,173,215.06.
Section 3. The amount due to S.M. Hentges and Sons, Inc., of Jordan,
Minnesota, is hereby ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
