RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF
ROOF REPLACEMENT AT THE ELECTRIC POWER PLANT
FOR THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Electric Services Department has filed a certificate of completion
for the Roof Replacement at the Electric Power Plant for the City of Ames, Iowa, in
accordance with a contract dated 27th day of February, 2024, by and between the City of
Ames, Iowa, and Central States Roofing, of Ames, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The total contract for the Roof Replacement at the Electric Power
Plant has been fully completed by the Contractor in accordance with the terms
of the contract and is hereby accepted and approved.
Section 2. The total cost of the contract is $ 1,724,540 (inclusive of sales tax).
Section 3. The amount due to Central States Roofing, of Ames, Iowa, is hereby
ordered paid as provided by law.
Section 4. All resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ADOPTED THIS 18th day of November, 2025.
